Zap-Kapow! The Comic Book Price Guide App Reviews

Used to work great. Now, since the March 3, 2015 update, cant even get it to open.

I just got the new download at least with the old version I could open in airplane and then use after it loaded, now it wont even open in airplane or out of it. Wish they could fix it.

I was happy with the previous version, but somethings wrong with the most recent update. For one, I can no longer see the value of my collection in the Favorites > Have section. But even more than that, I cannot even search comics now... Please fix :(

After the update the app worked fine for about a day, now it just keeps crashing over and over and over and over again. Literally every time.

I kept waiting for an IOS 8 update to correct the previous compatibility issue and was excited when one became available. Now, however, the app is still immediately crashing. If you are going to take the time to fix your product, try actually fixing it. What a complete waste of time.

Constant crashing. Useless until fixed. Pease fix!!!!!!

I thought this update was supposed to fix the books you had in favorites? It completely screwed up mine. It said my issues went from being worth $1500 to $69. Nice. Lets hope thats a glitch. And even with the second new update this app doesnt work. It just keeps crashing. Horrible app.

Seriously hasnt worked since I ran it on iPhone 3GS and iPad 1 versions. I have an iPhone 5 and iPad Air 2. Does not work on either. Everything up to date. Its a shame. I really liked it when it worked and had no reservation occasionally paying for updated content. But wont now. Cant even search without crash.

This app does not include every comic book published. I looked up little Lulu and they have a grand total of two issues listed. This was a waste of three dollars. Since it is incomplete, it is useless.

They are still very ready, willing & able to add any missing info, so it helps us all when users submit update suggestions regularly** I am a lifelong comic book collector & fan, and this price guide app is AWESOME!! It is exactly what I would want it to be, and provides accurate & up to date pricing info on a very broad base of Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age, & Modern Age comics. If any info is missing or incorrect, the developers are very responsive in making corrections and updating information. Everything Ive ever requested has been done, and quickly. Well worth the 99 cent monthly update fee to keep pricing current. I am so happy to have this guide in my pocket for reference when shopping at conventions or back issue bins. Thanks for the great product!

Great to have as my comic collection keeps growing!

I am a long time user of Comic Base (a PC application) and have only been using Zap-Kapow! on my iPhone for about four or five months now, but I can tell you, this is a great product. While Comic Base is very useful for creating a database of your entire collection, Zap-Kapow! fulfills two critical roles for any comic collector. 1. With Zap-Kapow!, I can get a quick ball park price on a real time basis when I am at a comic shop. This helps me ensure I am not going to overpay for my books. 2. With Kap-Kapow!, using the Want List, which I am now really starting to use, it basically creates my shopping list of wanted or missing issues and helps me confirm what I am looking for without bringing my 37 page (with double side printing, only 19 page) Comic Base printout report. This is a really great product. On the one occasion that I found a missing title, I emailed the Zap-Kapow! guys and they told me they were putting it into the next upgrade. I highly recommend this tremendous product !

Almost 80 comic books could not be found then I gave up and deleted the app not one comic book I have is there and they are common books such as superman x men action comics I just want a price so I know what to sell them for I have thousands thanks for nothing can I get my money back?

This app has such a small variety of comics on it! You cant look up anything properly and it doesnt recognize any searches! Absolutely horrible! I wish I could get a refund!

Fix your app please

Update: app doesnt crash now. Im not sure where the prices come from, but many are old and out of date. Suggest finding a way to keep the guide more current. ------ This version crashes frequently. No idea how to make it start working after a crash. It just wont start again. The devs need to put some time into testing their app before release.

Just downloaded the app and its not working. Im going to uninstall and try again. Keeping my fingers crossed, hoping i wont get ripped off out of $2.99 plus tax.

No results or data in app after latest update. Please fix.

Awful app, almost never works. Waste of money

This App presently does not work at all. Its not that it doesnt work well. It doesnt work at all.
